And it's Salma Hayek who was the big name as the stars and fashionistas turned out to watch the Gucci show on Wednesday evening.
The actress put on her finest for the event, knowing all eyes would be on her in the front row.
Lady in leather: Salma Hayek leads the fashion pack at Milan Fashion week in plum leather suit and co-ordinating knee-high boots
The 46-year-old dressed in an unusual plum coloured leather pencil skirt and matching suit jacket.
And to co-ordinate she strutted along in dark purple leather boots to her knees.
She completed her look with her dark locks coiffed to perfection in large curls while she carried a large black clutch bag.
Taking their seats: Salma used it as an
opportunity to bond with her step daughter Mathilde as they took their
places on the 'frow'
Making her entrance: She arrived in large sunglasses that even matched her ensemble with the plum coloured frame
Hayek walked into the event sporting some large dark shades with a matching plum rim before taking them off to reveal her glowing skin underneath.
She used the opportunity to spend quality time with her step daughter as she helped usher her into the event.
Working it: She was ushered in by security as she went to watch the Gucci autumn/winter show in the Italian city
Hollywood glamour: She had made sure everything was perfectly co-ordinated on the day in an array of plums and purples
The actress, 43, again picked the perfect shade of purple to attend the Christopher Kane show with her husband of four years Francois-Henri Pinault, 50.
The billionaire wore a coat in a matching colour to ensure they made a suitably fashionable pair.
Showing it off: She oozed confidence in the get-up as step daughter Mathilde sat near her
Fashionable family: Salma's husband Francois-Henri Pinault sat next to his daughter who also stood out in her bright coat
It doesn't hurt that Francois-Henri is the owner of several businesses, including luxury fashion brands Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta and Gucci.
Being married to the fashion tycoon practically guarantees Salma unlimited access to the world's top fashion houses and a front row seat at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week last month.
The Frida star made Paris her permanent residence after her Valentine's Day wedding to Francois-Henri in 2009.
'It's great. This is a good time in my life,' Salma told People.
