When the going gets tough, the tough get fashionable.
Eva Mendes had a busy night of promoting her new film on Wednesday, but that did not stop the stunner from looking great in three very different looks.
The 39-year-old not only changed three times for appearances around New York, but managed to cover three fashion periods in vintage looks.

New York may be a long way from the farm, but that did not stop Eva Mendes looking like a very fashionable lady on the prairie.
The 39-year-old stepped out in New York in a western-inspired Broderie Anglaise ensemble as she head to an appearance on the Daily Show With Jon Stewart.
Eva ignored New York's cold and embraced spring in the off white ruffled full length dress.
The Hitch star added a pair of her favourite brown ankle boots and held on to a pink coat, which fortunately she decided against wearing so not to ruin her country style outfit.
While her dress had the feel of being from another era, the 39-year-old added a modern edge wearing tortoiseshell sunglasses and her golden brown hair out and flowing.
For filming the star changed out of her country look into a 1960s shift dress.
Looking glamorous and as of she was about to step on to the set of Mad Men, Eva showed off her curves in the pastel pink knee length embroidered frock.
The star then went from swinging Sixties to Studio 54 ready in a Seventies-esque jumpsuit.
The low cut olive green and black leopard onesie turned Eva's look around from sweet and feminine to sexy and ready to party.
Donning her brown boots again, the 39-year-old wore the ensemble to a private screening of her new film A Place Beyond The Pines, at the Museum of Modern Art - the same film that she appeared on the talk show to discuss.
The pair play onscreen lovers - Ryan is a stunt bike rider who comes home to find his fling, played by Eva, has had their child - but sparks flew off screen when they filmed the violent crime drama in 2011.
No wonder Eva has dubbed the independent film her 'passion project'.
'The money people making the film put up a big fight because it's different and it’s ambitious and it's raw, and so I would like people to know that a lot of hard work went into actually even getting this going.'
Besides her 32-year-old boyfriend, the film also stars Silver Linings Playbook leading man Bradley Cooper as the cop on Ryan's character's tail after he turns to robbing banks to support his child, Goodfella's Ray Liotta and Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn.
